         Brothers-for-Hope

We are proud to introduce the Brothers for Hope Project. This sterling silver necklace reflects an epic journey through the America’s called Brothers On The Run and holds a very special purpose. We are donating 100% of the profits from this piece in an effort to rent, purchase, or build homes as may be fit to provide shelter, nutrition, safety, and education for mistreated kids in Nicaragua.

THE GOAL

Being the second poorest country in the western hemisphere, a dark reality exists in Nicaragua where many kids are being sex trafficked, abused, mistreated, and left with no family or shelter. Our vision is to supply homes for at risk children that provide for their physical, emotional and psychological needs in a loving family environment. These are kids who have been robbed of the joy of childhood. We want to provide them a safe place to explore, have fun and be kids again. In the midst of that, it's important to us that they receive therapy and counseling as necessary to help rehabilitate them from the trauma of past experiences. Ultimately, we want to help these kids in the way that is best for them. We're not going to change the world, but we hope to make a lasting change in the lives of a great few. We've worked hard on this project and are going to make sure the money raised will be used in the best manner to generate a positive impact for the kids. We will keep you updated on the first home we support.

THE BACKGROUND

Brothers on the Run is a web series produced by Red Bull that was shot in 2012. Developed by the Jackson brothers, the goal of the series was to drive from Alaska to Argentina. The journey was inclusive to all kinds of sports and athletes, but the Jackson's also wanted to include philanthropy through the many poverty stricken countries they were traveling. They fed kids working at the dumps in Mexico and brought lots of product to give away such as shoes and shirts, but they wanted to plant a seed that would last and they could continue to support. Researching different relief projects in Central and South America, the Jacksons felt strongly about helping the kids in Nicaragua and created the Brothers for Hope Pendant to provide funding for the cause.
